Clyde to Forth: The Scottish Coast to Coast

Route 75, the 171 mile Clyde to Forth route from the west to east coasts of Scotland, passing through Glasgow and Edinburgh. Starting at Gourok on the Clyde, with views across to the Highlands, the route follows a traffic-free path almost to the centre of Glasgow, then follows the river Clyde east of the city. Beyond Airdrie another traffic-free route carries you across the central plateau through a much admired sculpture trail. Then down through a country park and canalside trails into Edinburgh.
